Reducing the risk of Project Failure We have found that projects fail when both the software partner and the customer are not in sync with the objectives for the project. There is also abdication of responsibility from Senior Management for fear of embarrassment or role in a project. The processes in failing projects tend to be either poorly documented or undermined by a lack of serious requirements gathering at the outset. This leads to poorly created project plans and resource deficiencies of the right personnel at the right time. How does BlueWorld differ from the norm? We provide a business analysis of the situation, this may be a thorough analysis or a cut down requirements process, which will give the client and ourselves a better understanding of where you are and what are the client's objectives. We also implant good planning and training and this can be done by our in-house staff or one of our collaborative management consultancy partners to provide a high quality and relevant document and roadmap. We do not believe in the ‘big bang' approach to project delivery, this creates enormous tensions and stress and increased costs to any customer adopting this approach.
